Steel telescopic covers

At CNC Elite, we perform comprehensive refurbishment and manufacture of new steel telescopic covers for CNC machining machines.
Our covers are designed to protect guides, spindles, and the working area, and are engineered for long-term operation in demanding industrial environments.

All covers are manufactured and refurbished in Slovenia, in cooperation with our subcontractors and based on our own professional expertise in CNC servicing and mechanical engineering.

 

Refurbishment of steel telescopic covers

Refurbishment at CNC Elite is a technical process, not a cosmetic intervention. Each cover is disassembled, inspected, and refurbished so that it is once again mechanically stable, properly guided, and fully functional.

Refurbishment includes:

• option of disassembling the covers at the customer’s site

• thorough cleaning of all segments

• straightening of deformed segments

• replacement of wiper guide rails

• replacement of sliders and dampers

• replacement of wipers

• reassembly and functional testing

• option of reinstallation at the customer’s site

 

Warranty

We provide a 6-month warranty for refurbished telescopic covers.

Manufacture of new telescopic covers

If refurbishment of existing covers is no longer technically reasonable, we manufacture new steel telescopic covers based on a sample or measurements.

Execution:

• existing covers are copied or technically replaced

• new custom-made segments are manufactured

• mountings, guides, and movement are adapted

Possible upgrades

• installation of dampers for softer and quieter closing

• walk-on first segment design (with steel tread plate)

• additional reinforcements for demanding environments

Warranty

We provide a 12-month warranty for new telescopic covers.

How the order process works

The customer may:

1. send an inquiry with dimensions and a photograph, or

2. order a professional on-site inspection of the covers

For manufacturing or quotation, we recommend providing:

• cover width

• Lmin (length in fully closed position)

• Lmax (length in fully open position)

• photograph of the cover (to see shape, curves, and design)

Alternatively, the customer can simply order an inspection of the telescopic covers.

Inspection and measurement costs

If you order an inspection:

• technician travel time: 30 € / hour

• mileage: 0.41 € / km

• measurement of individual telescopic covers: 50 €

If you order covers according to our quotation after the inspection:

• the measurement cost (50 €) is fully deducted

• travel time and mileage are charged according to the price list
